I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and I abide by their code of ethics. I am also a member of the Black, African and Asian Therapy Network (BAATN). I have an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. In addition, I have taken specific training in Online and Telephone Counselling which is approved by the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO). I also have a BA(Hons) degree and an MSc.
I have an online private practice and I have been a volunteer counsellor for organisations offering low-cost counselling to the public. I have previously worked with clients within an NHS IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service. I also have a professional background in human resources and coaching and was a voluntary community mediator for several years.
I have a longstanding interest in culture and difference, psychology, mental health, wellbeing and mindfulness.
